Overview
The JS-SEZ has been positioned as a game-changer to further strengthen bilateral economic ties, catalyse cross-border investments, and unlock new areas of collaboration between Singapore and Johor. Building on the energy and anticipated outcomes of the upcoming 2nd JS-SEZ Joint Investment Forum on 14 October 2025 in Singapore, Singapore Business Federation is organising a focused 1-day Business Mission to JS-SEZ: Zone B & E (Iskandar Puteri & Senai) on 15 October 2025 (Wednesday). This mission aims to provide Singapore and foreign companies with first-hand exposure to the zone’s infrastructure, investment-ready sites, and business ecosystems, as well as opportunities to engage with key local stakeholders and partners.
Among the 11 economic sectors identified under the JS-SEZ, this mission will take on a more sector-focused approach, with particular emphasis on the digital economy, hospitality, manufacturing, and logistics. In this regard, we believe it would be highly valuable for IIB to provide an overview of the Iskandar Puteri development, which falls under Flagship Zone B of the JS-SEZ, as well as insights into the manufacturing and logistics sectors under Flagship Zone E of the JS-SEZ.
Through site visits, briefings, and networking sessions, participating delegates will gain valuable insights into the zone’s development priorities, sectoral opportunities, and support mechanisms available for businesses. The mission will also serve as a timely platform for companies to exchange views, explore collaborations, and position themselves early to tap into the advantages that the JS-SEZ offers.
